This unique event, taking place on April 18th and 19th, 2024 in Washington DC, brings together an international audience of technology leaders and public servants to explore the cutting edge of tech-driven innovation in public service delivery. We see this as a natural extension of our successful work in the UK, and a fantastic opportunity to learn from and share experiences on a global stage.

Taking our expertise to the US
Darren Hutton, Elisse Jones, Mike Tattersall and Liz Whitefield will be representing Hippo stateside. The Hippo delegation is looking forward to sharing insights earned from working with UK institutions on critical projects. At the heart of the discussion, Hippo’s Chief Digital Officer, Darren Hutton, will be participating in the “Safety First: Building Cybersecurity by Design and Default” panel. Cybersecurity is paramount for effective government operations. This session will discuss how agencies can leverage it to not only reduce risk but also drive broader improvements in technology and service delivery.

Government DX offers a golden opportunity to gain valuable insights into US and global approaches to public service innovation. The conference will delve into key areas like modernising government technology, bolstering cybersecurity, and leveraging data and AI for better service provision. We’re particularly interested in learning about the “Delivering a Digital-First Public Experience” policy guidance being implemented by the White House as well as sharing our experience and insights in public sector transformation.
