Hippo is pleased to report a buoyant start to the financial year, securing a number of significant new contracts to deliver digital services for government, healthcare and private sector organisations, alongside continuous steady increase of the organisation’s headcount.
This comes after welcoming a new strategic investment partner, Exponent, in April, as the company enters the next phase in its growth journey as a partner in the digital transformation of digital services. Hippo joined the Exponent portfolio as one of the largest independent digital services consultancies in the UK, with long-term ambitions for further growth.
This, coupled with the recent wins in government, health and the private sector, positions Hippo as an attractive prospect for new employees with a strong platform to drive growth and achieve a larger market share, creating opportunities, security and stability as it continues to grow the team.
With a 500-strong team of specialists across design, data, engineering and delivery, Hippo delivers end to end services in user-centred design, data engineering, delivery and product, and the new contract wins ensure that we continue to play a critical role in the digital modernisation of services, unlocking efficiencies and improving experiences for millions of citizens.
The further headcount growth spans roles across software engineering, user research, user experience (UX) and delivery and provides an opportunity for talented digital specialists to join a vibrant community of innovative and supportive consultants. To support its widening portfolio and sustained growth, Hippo is always looking to recruit talent with experience in delivering services for health, central government and private sector organisations.
Mike Tattersall, Chief Delivery Officer at Hippo says,
“We’re committed to steady long-term growth at Hippo, and our recent investment and contract wins showcase this. Part of that is around growing the team and importantly, maintaining our culture and values: being human, ambitious and pragmatic. These values feed into our user-centred approach, and our focus on building services that put people first, that meet their needs, and are accessible and inclusive.
“One of our mantras is to build the right thing right, and to do that, we need the right people that feed into our culture of expertise and building solutions that bring benefit. We value an inclusive and ethical approach to tech, and people who will support and communicate effectively with our clients.”
