We’re pleased to support this upcoming networking breakfast celebrating the Leeds data community and the women driving its success. While the UK industry still faces a significant 4:1 male-to-female ratio, and 53% of organisations report no women in AI roles at all, Leeds is proving to be a standout exception. The city’s collaborative ecosystem is fostering a more inclusive environment, and we are proud to see our local community leading the way.

As we work more with Data and AI integration, ensuring women have equal influence in that innovation is essential for building fairer technology. An expert panel of women in data have come together to discuss the future of the profession and celebrate the diversity of it across Leeds’ digital organisations.

Hosted by Cathy Arnold (Head of Data Services, University of Leeds), the panel features:

  • Stacey Ward, Senior Data Director, cap hpi
  • Corrine Richardson, Interim Chief Data Officer, Department for Education
  • Paris Bielby, Data Director, CAVU
  • Rachael Johnson, Head of Data Products, Lloyds Banking Group
  • Charlotte Barnes, Principal Data Engineer, Hippo

The event is a fantastic opportunity to explore how Leeds can continue to set the standard for a diverse, future-ready data landscape, and we look forward to hosting this conversation.
