The Service Designer takes a broad view of designing services, from the end-to-end service perspective that involves the activity of planning and organizing people, infrastructure, communication and material components of a service in order to improve its quality and the interaction between the service provider and its customers.
Key in a DevOps environment is ensuring the service is designed to be operable as well as user centred.
Please note, this is not an ITIL Service Designer role, but an experience design Service Design role.
Public sector experience preferable in an Agile role.
Previous Agile experience preferable.
Detailed knowledge of a wide range of UX & Service Design techniques.
Solid experience of user-centred design practices.
Research analysis techniques including: quantitative analysis i.e. analysis specification, verbatim coding, text analytics.
Experience of health and the public sector market/social research.
Specialist knowledge of Digital Design practices, tools and techniques.
Experience of defining and conducting user testing.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Strong workshop facilitation skills.
