About the session
Artificial intelligence and machine learning offer huge potential to support decision-making and efficiency for NHS and healthcare services.
When deployed using a responsible and ethical framework, such technologies can empower clinicians to deliver real-world improvements in patient care. However, for many the concepts of AI and machine learning feel far from human – often seeming complex and inaccessible.
In this case study session, Anna will talk through an initiative using machine learning to support Mid Yorkshire NHS Teaching Trust frontline pharmacy services.
The talk will describe the journey of how Artificial Intelligence was harnessed to build a decision support tool designed to help pharmacists prioritise patients, increase capacity and ultimately improve patient safety and outcomes.
