PyData Leeds returns this June for an evening of Python, data, engineering and practical conversation at Hippo’s event space in Leeds.

The meetup brings together people working with data and technology to share ideas, hear from experienced practitioners and connect with the local community.

This month’s event includes two talks exploring timely questions around AI, data science and engineering.

Obinna Iheanachor, Senior AI and Data Engineer at Rotork and Founder of Wisabi Analytics, will share a production case study on local first AI for document pipelines, looking at how teams can reduce cloud cost, latency and data exposure.

Fay Churchill, Head of Data Science at ITV, will explore what data science leadership looks like in the current GenAI landscape, including how teams can stay focused on business value and technical integrity while innovation moves quickly.

Whether you are part of the Leeds PyData community already or coming along for the first time, the evening is a chance to learn from others, meet people working in similar spaces and join practical conversations around data and engineering.
