Hippo is sponsoring Natter’s July meetup, bringing Manchester’s digital design community together for an evening of talks, conversation and shared learning.
Taking place at Colony King Street on Thursday 30 July, the meetup will explore how the environments people work in, emerging technology and cognitive load can influence research and design.
Helen Swarbrick, User Researcher at Hippo, will present ‘The Other Side of the Desk: Considerations for Researching with GP Practice Staff’. Her session will examine what researchers need to consider when working with the people delivering care inside busy GP practices.
Helen will be joined by two speakers from across the design community:
- Chloe Daly, Product Design Lead at UiPath, will discuss designing for trust, explainability and agents in the AI era
- Mike Carney, UX Designer at Aldermore Bank, will explore the hidden effect cognitive load can have on user behaviour and how designers can reduce it
Who should attend?
Natter welcomes people from across Manchester’s design community, including those working in user research, UX and product design. The meetup is also open to students, career changers and anyone looking to build connections or learn more about the industry.
