The Agile Business Analyst works as part of a customer team of Product Owner, Service Designers, User Experience Designers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) assigned by the sponsoring business unit. The main aims of the role are to:
Work with Service Designers and User Experience Designers under the guidance of the Product Owner to develop a thorough understanding of the service roadmap
Work with the Product Owner to establish and maintain a prioritized backlog of requirements and to identify the Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
Manage the backlog using a structure agreed with the Product Owner
Develop testable hypotheses to validate service design options and to inform the requirements gathering and elicitation process
Help identify user candidates for hypothesis validation and to support user acceptance testing of solutions
Manage and run requirements workshops with user communities, suppliers and other key stakeholders to identify and refine requirements and delivery options
Facilitate workshops and design sessions to elicit requirements with team members, delivery partners and key stakeholders using a lean (just in time) approach
Work with the Product Owner, User Experience Designers to develop User Stories using INVEST principles, business rules, non-functional requirements and any other assets required by the development team
Support the Product Owner throughout the delivery process by attending stand-ups, clarifying requirements with delivery teams and validating test results.
